Wooot Happy Friday! Blissballs have saved me During this long week of work, essays, assignments, and a fever 😵 it’s probably all the antioxidants in the tumeric & matcha 👀 (peep the link in the bio for the recipe if you’re interested!) ANDDDD now I am ready to get lit over the weekend aka eat the best vegan food!! (Aka Eyeing @awcanada new began burger that just launched 😱) have any of you tried it?! And maybe the new vegan @halotop_ca that came to Canada finally !! I’ve heard mixed reviews but still wanna give it a go! I’m getting way too excited 😂 OK HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND XOXO
BAGELS OR BREAD? I have phases where I love love LOVE bread and phases where I go through a whole bag of 12 pack bagels in 3 days 😂 Todays bagel consists of: avocado, pan fried garlic VEGAN shrimp (which actually kinda tastes like mock crab meat I think but still v good), vegan mayo and later topped with some baby tomatoes 😋 Tofu or tempeh would work really well too! What are your favourite bagel fillings? 🙆🏻
Good morning!! ☀️ So excited cause I’m collabing with the only and only Michelle from @plantandsprout 💚 she’s the girl to go to if you’re looking for some fire vegan food inspo & if you just wanna look at beautiful food photography. her photos have so much depth i always feel some type of way staring at it 😂 it’s summer time so naturally we decided to share some ice cream recipes with you guys! Michelle made Salted chocolate peanut butter ice-cream (basically the duo that makes all things perfect) & I made Roasted balsamic cherry ice-cream! + we’ve made them so no ice-cream machine is involved!!
INGREDIENTS FOR BALSAMIC ROASTED CHERRY ICECREAM:
2 c cherries
.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
3-4 medium frozen bananas
1/4 PURE coconut cream (it comes in a box!) or 1/2 c canned coconut cream
1 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp maple syrup .
Preheat oven to 450, then roast the cherries with the pits inside for 15 minutes. Take them out, pit the cherries and drizzle + toss the balsamic in and roast for another 15 minutes. Let it cool. Blend the bananas, coconut cream, vanilla & maple syrup in a blender. Transfer it into a ice cube tray or shallow loaf pan and freeze. Chop the ice-cream out of the loaf pan and transfer to food processor and process until smooth. Pulse in a couple cherries. Transfer to a loaf pan, this time layering in some of the roasted cherries. Place back into the freezer giving it a stir every 15-20 minutes until frozen. You can totally skip the food processing step but it makes it so much more creamier!! I HOPE YOU LOVE OUR RECIPES ☺️❤️
Good morning ☀️☺️ Breakfast bowl deets 👉🏻 thick rolled oats and sunflower seeds soaked in strawberry yogurt and mashed banana topped with peaches, berries and granola 😋. Also added half a scoop of @amazinggrass vanilla protein powder that I stocked up from whole foods during their sale and it made the oats extra thick 🤤 hope you guys are all eating somethin’ delicious too !! ❤️😁
New week but yogurt bowls still on repeat because it makes for the perfect brunch 🙏🏻 they always turn out looking the same but i always change up the flavour of the rawnola and yogurt! this time, I made vanilla caramel yogurt paired with mint chocolate rawnola & topped it with berries, pineapple and caramel sauce
Mint Chocolate Rawnola:
1/2 c rolled oats
2 tbsp cashews
2 chunks of mint chocolate
Pulsed in a food processor until combined
Have a lovely Monday & hope you get in some sunshine 😎
