Finally Saturday 🙆🏻 I always like to play around with my food on the weekends to *try* and make them look pretty. We eat with our eyes!! And I think being Japanese, the blood of the aesthetics of the food is really strong... but I'm also really lazy so usually it's right out of the blender or pot 😂. Here's my everyday favourite breakfast (usually eaten out of the blender and the "crust" thrown on top) to have turned into some bomb af tartlets!! Swipe left for the recipe 🙆🏻I hope ya'll are having a ~relaxing~ weekend and eating all the discounted chocolates 🍫

If you need a last minute *super easy* valentines day recipe idea, how about some Herb Crusted Cauliflower Steaks? 😻 Tender on the inside, crispy and so flavourful on the outside! I feel like this is one of those meals that looks like you put in a lot of effort but really it's probably the easiest (and cheapest 😂) meals to make. And anything served with quinoa, rapini or asparagus becomes x2 more fancy. And yes... the roasted garlic aioli steak continues- probably my current condiment obsession. So perfect for this crazy snow storm thats about to hit Toronto today ❄️ 😭. Chili is my boyfriend and I’s go-to-lazy af meal because it’s so easy to make (aka throw it all in one pot) and requires the most basic pantry staple ingredients and.. we’re both pretty lazy in the kitchen 😂. This Pulled Jackfruit Chili will have you PULLIN’ on your taste buds - Eric 2019. Happy Sunday! 🙌🏻 If you're meal prepping for this up coming week and have some cashews on hand... def try out this super easy vegan roasted garlic aioli! Roasting garlic gets rid of the super pungent taste and smell and just brings out the aromatic and less in the face flavours of the garlic- total game changer! 🙈 My preferred method is in the air fryer, and can easily be done by cutting the top off your garlic bulbs, brushing a bit of oil on the exposed tops (or none if you’re oil free), wrapping it with foil and putting it into your air fryer at 400 for 15-20 minutes 😁. .
